Comics and cartoons

MN Original posts up a a great wee 8 minute-plus video of Zak Sally talking about his work, discussing his cartooning, his teaching and his music and how they come together in his life. It’s all interesting stuff and I totally go along with him where he talks about self published comics and the simple pleasure that comes from picking up something that’s hand-made, that you know someone spent time putting together themselves and how that sensation enhances your reading pleasure (I think a lot of our small press friends will totally be on Zak’s wavelength here). It’s a nice, gentle but interesting glimpse into Zak’s creative life, have a look:
