The FNAC crew has uploaded a short interview with the brilliant Eddie Campbell recorded recently at Angoulême – it’s in a a mix of languages, with the interviewer asking questions in French, Eddie responding in English as he discusses his work and influences, including some very interesting parts on his early work and why he wanted to avoid the superhero mainstream and explore something different in comics, relating it also to the international scene around at the time too:
