The Stool Pigeon points us to the debut screenwriting work of our great bearded magus, Mr Alan Moore: Jimmy’s End. Despite several adaptations (of rather, shall we say, varying quality) of his work for film, this time Alan has written specifically for screen himself, collaborating with Mitch Jenkins on this, a half hour feature which is the first in a planned series of works collectively gathered under the title The Show. There is a prologue piece, Act of Faith, as well as the short film Jimmy’s End itself to take in:
