Right, this weekend has rather sneaked up on me.

But all this week there are events, and this weekend we have the annual Thought Bubble comic convention, two days of comic stuff over two venues in Leeds. Essentially it’s a damn fine convention. You should go. There’s lots on….

Oh, one other thing. There’s a thing on the Saturday. A thing I happen to be involved in as one of the committee who chose the nominees. A thing that’s taken an enormous amount of work on the part of many, many people, most especially the prime mover behind the thing; Adam Cadwell.

It’s the first British Comic Awards. And it takes place between 6pm-7pm on Saturday 17th, Bury Theatre. We want it to become something important to the British Comics Industry.

Please, we’d love to see you there. Frankly it’s going to be a little weird us telling an empty room who won.
