Comics and cartoons

One of my favourite cartoonists, Corinne Mucha, has joined forces with award-winning author and scholar, Anne Elizabeth Moore, to bring some fantastic comics journalism your way. The new miniseries for Ladydrawers charts the history of women’s rights, with the first edition ‘Earnings and Yearnings’ depicting the birth of the women’s rights movement and the differences in the wage gap. The series will also ’look at some of the ways that the historic lack of women’s participation has led to inequities in legislative policy that have damaged everyone’. Really pleased to see this issue being addressed in this format. Read the first edition here, and bookmark it to follow the rest.
