A Flying Fable is a very enjoyable short animated film by Samuel Root. Set in Olympus the son of Atlas wants his father to teach him how to ride his bicycle, but Atlas thinks riding a bike is too tame and that he should fly that bike. Only problem is his son is adopted and mortal – and mortals can’t fly. But that’s not going to stop the well-meaning if misguided dad deity…
