Overcast is a very short but cracking animated film, a student graduation work by James Lancett and Sean Weston, combining animation over real world footage, following a very sad, depressed looking man who cannot get out from under the small rain cloud that follows him everywhere, despite his best efforts to lose it. There are some nice little touches as our animated man and animated rain at a real-world breakfast table interact with real breakfast foods on the table. Short but rather satisfying work:
