The Animation of Man is a very cool and enjoyable slice of animated short film fun by Dutch film-maker and artist Amanda Nedermeijer, designed, as she explains, to actually show some of the work and effort that goes into creating animated work (surely one of the most laborious forms of art to work on, but frequently so worth all that long effort), and the way the characters you imagine sometimes seem to have minds of their own and want to go in different directions from those you planned. It’s a funny and charming short and a lovely wee piece of animation:
