Fundraiser: Write the Future

Tom Hunter and the other folk associated with the UK’s pre-eminent award for science fiction literature, the Arthur C Clarke Award, are planning a mini conference called Write the Future, which will focus on “science, technology, communication and fiction” – obviously inspired by the works, both fiction and non-fiction, of the great Arthur himself. The venue is one of most distinguished academic locations in these islands, the Royal Society in London, and there is a Kickstarter running for it right now, with the event itself scheduled for May 1st of this year:
