Heavens, you know you’re busy when you forget your own birthday.
February 25th 2005 and the FPI Blog opens its (virtual) doors with Joe Gordon at the helm.
8 years later and we’re still here. Joe’s been joined by a few of us over the years, but our intent has always been the same, from that very first blog post:
“Most of the FP crew know where our customers are coming from because we share their tastes and interests – we’re often reading the same books and comics, collecting the same limited edition busts. That’s one of the reasons we’ve begun this blog – so we can share directly with you the latest items which are tickling our collective fancy.”
Yep, we still love to share with you all of the things that tickle our collective fancy. And hopefully you all still enjoy reading about them.
From all of us here at the FPI blog to all of you out there, we’d like say thank you for reading over the years. We’re as committed as ever to putting the very best from the wide world of comics in front of you each and every day.
8 years down, many more to go.

Happy Birthday! Your support for the small-press has been incredibly value to me and I’m very grateful. Also always a good place to find out about a whole range of news and comics and things of note to people with a wide church of tastes. That’s important too! Here’s to many more birthdays.

Joe has written about 1000 posts a year.
Richard has written almost 4000 posts in the time he’s been blogging for FPI.
Bloody hell!
Happy Birthday, all.
