Illustration : Once Upon at Time in the West

Sam Hiti‘s superb work has appeared on the blog several times (we find it hard to resist sharing some of it!), but there’s always room for some more, especially when, frankly, it is this damned good. Sam creates a poster which is effectively a summary of one of my favourite Westerns, the great Sergio Leone’s Once Upon a Time in the West. Zainab flagged this up a while back but after seeing it again online recently I had to stick it back up – it’s so damned cool and so effective I can practically hear that iconic ‘harmonica man’ theme music (re-used to great effect years later by Fields of the Nephilim on Dawnrazor).
