The brilliantly titled “Let’s Kill Hitler” is airing on Saturday 27th August – 7:10-8:00pm. Here’s the episode PR:

Not a surprise, seeing as BBC America had already put their date up, but the BBC press office announced today that the next half of the latest Doctor Who series, the brilliantly titled “Let’s Kill Hitler” is airing on Saturday 27th August – 7:10-8:00pm. Here’s the episode PR:

oooooohhh… not a trailer this time, but a genuine prequel, described by the Beeb as:

“This one bridges episodes 7 and 8 and reveals a little about how the Doctor and Amy are feeling following the events of A Good Man Goes to War. The Prequel is written by Steven Moffat and so as you’d expect, it has humour, drama and a heart-breaking moment… Matt Smith and Karen Gillan are on great form in the short video which you’ll be able to watch on Monday.”

The series starts again with “Lets Kill Hitler” soon, but BBC America list it as being August 27th.

And should you have forgotten… BBC America have kindly put together a “season so far” bit….

The show returns at 9pm on BBC 1 tonight and you will be able to grab subsequent new comics episodes from the official Luther site here, and naturally you can follow more on Twitter and Facebook. Seems to be an increasing trend to do either online comics or short animation supplements to television shows at the moment, a trend I’m quite happy with.
