Wrestler star Evan Rachel Wood has also been confirmed for the role of Mary Jane Watson, although the actor who will don the Spidey suit is still unknown. The musical, scored by U2′s Bono and the Edge, is due to open next year, with preview performances expected to open towards the end of February 2010. I’m still waiting to hear if they will include a nod to the classic Spidey cartoon theme song – preferably the version performed by the mighty Ramones. (via the BBC)
