(The LUC 176 sign – from Sean Azzopardi’s Flickr set – more here.)

Last weekend saw the latest event from London Underground Comics: LUC 176. As you may have expected, it all went rather wonderfully well. Sadly I couldn’t make it down, despite really wanting to. But that doesn’t mean we can’t give you reports from the day. Most of those involved in organising it seem to be rather quiet after the event which we’ll take as a measure of how much work went into organising the event. So we’ll give them all a couple of weeks to recover and then start asking what’s next? I’m certain Oli will have some ideas.

So, from Sean Azzopardi’s report of the event:

“Well, that was a fucking success I shouted Into Oli’s ear, as we enjoyed the after show pub session at the enterprise. For an outsider this could be seen as yet another bold, ego laden and over hyped statement coming out of the rather large mouth of LUC. But this is deserved. Just ask the people who took part either exhibiting or visiting .”

And here are a few pictures from the day borrowed from Sean’s Flickrstream:

And finally, a typical LUC style photo featuring some of the folks behind getting it all together; from l-r Oliver Lambden, Sean Azzopardi and Oliver Smith.
