I heard from our friend Gerry Alanguilan today and I’m glad to report that he is okay, although as he went on to say, others, including some of his fellow comics professionals, lost homes or had them badly damaged in Manila where the storm hit particularly hard. Gerry has since posted up a blog article on how to help, from spreading the word to donations, for both concerned people within and outwith the Philippines.
